(1). Select "Amazon S3" in the "File System" list.
(2). Setup the parameters for connecting to the Amazon S3 server.
Access Key ID: The Amazon S3 account, like "AKIXXXXXXXXXXXXBTAUA"(about 20 characters).
Secret Access Key ID: like "TmAi+xxxxxxxxxxxxxw/g7hcc/xxxxXXXXxxxXx9" (about 40 characters).
Region: Select the "Region" of Amazon S3 server.
Use Reduced Redundancy Storage: check this option to use the storage of 99.99% durability. Uncheck this option to use the storage of 99.999999999% durability.
Use http Proxy:
If the local computer is behind a firewall or NAT, usually the computer needs the proxy to connect to the Amazon S3 server.
If this option is checked at the first time, the "http Proxy" dialog box will be popped up for setup up the http proxy server.
Advanced...:
Setup the customized meta-data to the file that upload to the Amazon S3.
(3). After set up the parameters above, press "Go" button to connect to the Amazon S3 server, and list the buckets(folders) into the tree view.
The log window below the treeview logs all the commands sent to the Amazon S3 server, and responses from the Amazon S3 server. If the connection between CloudsRAID and Amazon S3 server can not be established successfully, please check the log.
(4). Select the folder in the tree view.
(5). Click "OK"button to end the dialog box
