"Copy new empty folder"
If this option is checked, the new created folder is created in the target folder even if it is empty.
If this option is not checked, the new created folder is not created in the target folder if it is empty.
"Protect read-only file from being deleted or modified"
If this option is checked, the read-only files of the sync target are protected from being changed, even if the files in the source folders are deleted or modified.
NOTE:
If this option is checked, the read-only attribute of the source file will not be copied to the target file.
This action is to avoid the target file being protected (can not be updated), if the read-only attribute is copied to the target file.Use intermediate file during copy. (To prevent the file from being crashed.)
If this option is checked, CloudsRAID will use an intermediate file as the target file during copying process. When the file is copied successfully, the intermediate file is renamed to the target file. This action avoids an incomplete file in the target folder, and the target file is never cashed even if it fails to copy the file due to any error (such as network error).
The intermediate file is named like following rule:
__CloudsRAID_<Original File Name>Process multiple files simultaneously.
If this option is checked, please also specify the maximum thread number.
CloudsRAID will create multiple threads for scanning the folders and copying files. This option will improve the process speed dramatically especially when synchronizing with the FTP server. If the FTP server allow multiple connections from clients, CloudsRAID can upload/download multiple files simultaneously. If FTP server support REST command, CloudsRAID can download different parts of a large file simultaneously by multiple threads!
NOTE: This feature is not available when one of the folders is Windows Mail or Outlook
Verify file after copy by available method from the server or MD5:
If this option is checked, when sync with FTP server, CloudsRAID will try to use XCRC or XMD5 command to verify the file after download/upload the file; when synchronize with Amazon S3 or Google Storage, CloudsRAID uses MD5 to verify the file.
Copt NTFS permissions:
The both of the synchronization folders are in NTFS file system, and this option is checked, CloudsRAID will copy NTFS permissions after copy the file.
NOTE: To use this option, CloudsRAID must be started As Administrator.
HNIT: If you check "Start CloudsRAID when Windows starts" in "Option"/"General" dialog box, CloudsRAID is started in the highest privilege when an user logon.
Task Priority:
Set the priority of the task.
Above Normal: The task will be ran in the priority that is above the normal.
Normal: The task will be ran in the normal priority.
Below Normal: The task will be ran in the priority that is below the normal. Use this option or "Idle" option to prevent the task from consuming to much CPU time for the multiple-threads task.
Idle: The task will be ran when the system is in the idle status.
Retry synchronization if there are failed files.
Check this option to retry the synchronization if there are failed items.
CloudsRAID will retry transfer automatically when it runs into a network error while it it is synchronizing with FTP server.
Retry Times(<=3):
Specify the retry times. The count must be less than 3.
Resume failed file from the breakpoint.
If this option is selected, CloudsRAID will resume the file copy operation from the last breakpoint.
This option is very useful to copy a large file to/from FTP server or network drive. If a file copy action is broken during network error, the file copy action is continued from the last break point.
